Kelly Spiering


Current Employment: Owner and operator, Spiering Farms
Past Experience: Born and raised in Powell, Wyoming, Kelly Spiering teamed up with his father in 1976 to run the family homestead. Nearly forty years later, Spiering now farms 600 acres near Heart Mountain as a seed business specializing in native grasses, oats, beans, and alfalfa. Kelly and his wife Sylvia just celebrated their 35th anniversary and center their entire operation around family, raising 11 children on the farm. After college, two of his sons returned to the farm and are establishing their own families in Powell, Wyoming, carrying on the homestead tradition of their grandfather.
Civic Involvement: Kelly has served on the Park Country Land Use Planning Committee, the Wyoming Crop Improvement Association board, and on the board for the Heart Mountain Irrigation District. He currently serves as the chairman of the advisory board of the University of Wyoming Research and Extension Center, serves on the board of Park County Fire District No. 1, and is active in the Knights of Columbus and Saint Barbara's Catholic Church. He has been a Powell Economic Partnership board members since its inception.

Past Experience: 10 years of civil engineering experience, last 8 years focused on aviation engineering; GDA Engineers project manager 2007-2009, Department Manager 2009 - present; Staff Engineer - Inberg Miller Engineers 2005 - 2007
Civic Involvement: PEP Board member 2013 - present, vice-chair 2014 and 2015; Powell Valley Ducks Unlimited 2006 - present, co-chairman 2009 - present; 2010 Park County Leadership Institute Graduate; Park County Leadership Institute Board Member 2013 - present.

James Seckman


Current Employment: CPA and Owner, Seckman Accounting
Past Experience: James grew up in Michigan and moved to Wyoming in 1979. After high school he served our county as a military police officer. He attended Northwest College in 1986 and finished his Associate’s Degree in Business Management at Casper College Where he met his wife of 26 years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wyoming in 1992 and his scores on the CPA exam were in the top 10% in the nation. He worked for two of the largest accounting firms in Wyoming prior to relocating his family to Powell in 1997.
Civic Involvement: PEP Board member 2012 - present, Treasurer, 2012 - present

Dr. Stefani Hicswa, PhD


Current Employment: President, Northwest College, July 2013-present
Past Experience: Over 15 years senior-level experience in rural community college administration including serving as President of Miles Community College from 2006-2013. Also served as a ranch manager, strategic planning and organizational development consultant, visiting scholar, and part-time faculty member.
Civic Involvement: Powell Economic Partnership, Forward Cody, Park County Youth Hockey Association Rotary, Governor’s Community Service Commission, as well as various other boards and volunteer activities.

LeAnne Kindred


Current Employment: Co-owner and manager, Dick Jones Trucking
Past Experience: LeAnne was born and raised in the Powell Valley. Upon graduation from Montana State University in 1987 with a degree in Business Administration, she moved to Denver, Colorado. While there she gained experience in the banking industry as a new accounts representative and a loan processor. Her return to Powell in 1991 lead her on a retail journey where she and her husband owned and operated a clothing and sporting goods store for 10 years. She currently owns and operates Dick Jones Trucking with her brother; this family trucking business will celebrate it's 80th birthday in 2015.
Civic Involvement: Rotary, Chamber of Commerce Member, Park Couty School District #1 Board of Trustees, Plaza Diane Community Center for the Arts Board, Powell Schools Foundation Board, Powell Recreation Board, and Powell Economic Partnership Director

Past Experience: Technical Support Manager for ReSource Inc, serving domestic and international clients, from 1994 to 2004. Sales, Design and Management positions with LTV Energy Product, Continental Emsco in various offices from Gillette Wyoming to Dallas Texas 1979 - 1994

Andrew Whitlock


Current Employment: Owner, Whitlock Appraisal and Whitlock Development
Past Experience: Andrew was born and raised in Powell, WY. He is a graduate of Northwest College and the University of WY. He has been in the real estate industry for 10 years as a Certified General Appraiser and Real Estate Broker. He is also active in multi-family investments. Andrew will finish his MBA from the University of WY, May 2015.
